The concept of Mindfulness come from many sources but the idea comes from the practice of Buddhism.

Buddhism is not a religion – it is a deep understanding practice followed by many like minded people who like the ideas & concepts of a person called Buddha.

To follow these beliefs is to be mindful – to focus on the breathing & body, by doing meditation, to bring the feeling from the mind & notice it only as how it feels at the present moment in the body.

Buddhist beliefs strongly on the concept of staying present in the moment & not following the mind’s habit of constantly reflecting on the past or imaging the future,

Mindfulness is not Buddhism but its ideas are used to improve mental development also achieving inner peace & acceptance.
